About

I teach my students using hands-on, out of the box, creative methods and am constantly juggling the new mandates that come down from the “powers that be” (aka the state department of education) while still being true to myself as a teacher and my philosophy of education. Societies’ expectations for children may have changed, but the basic stages of child development have not! 🙂 I hope that by sharing my experiences with you, by using humor and sprinkled with a little research along the way, this blog helps you to either learn more about the world of early chlidhood education or validate and support those of you who are a part of it.
